Build a career and enjoy life in the beautiful Inland Northwest

Incyte Diagnostics has a part-time opportunity for a AP/CP Board Certified Pathologist in the Tri-Cities area of Washington State.  Founded in 1957, Incyte now has over 40 pathologists and over 200 support staff.  Based in Spokane, Washington, the group provides onsite staffing to numerous hospitals throughout Washington and Northern Idaho, as well as laboratory medical directorship/consultation to many smaller hospitals within the state.

Incyte pathologists are committed to providing outstanding service in all aspects of community-based clinical and anatomic pathology; therefore, flexibility and strong training and/or experience in general pathology are a must.  Candidates must be board-certified in AP/CP, must be permanent US residents, have excellent communication skills, and have a strong desire to interact with clinicians, administrators and laboratory staff.  Proficiency in the performance of frozen sections and cytology interpretations (both GYN and non-GYN) is required.  The successful candidate should also have an interest in clinical pathology, a willingness to serve on tumor boards and hospital committees, an interest in medical directorship and/or administrative leadership, and the ability to work independently.

The Tri-Cities area is located on the banks of the Columbia River.  Residents enjoy an arid and temperate climate with approximately 300 days of sunshine a year.  The area lies in the heart of Washington’s wine country and provides abundant golf, fishing, and other outdoor activities.  Combined with a quality school system, little traffic congestion, and a comparatively low cost of living, the Tri-Cities is an excellent place to live, work, and play.
