Incyte Diagnostic has an opportunity for an AP/CP board certified pathologist with fellowship training in genitourinary pathology in Spokane, Washington, available immediately. Founded in 1957, Incyte now has over 40 pathologists and 200 support staff. The group provides on-site and off-site staffing to numerous hospitals and ambulatory care facilities throughout Washington and Northern Idaho, as well as laboratory medical directorship/consultation to many smaller hospitals within the Inland Northwest.

The successful candidate will be board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology, have fellowship training in genitourinary pathology, and have a strong interest in active participation in a successful group practice. Incyte pathologists are committed to providing outstanding service in all aspects of community-based clinical and anatomic pathology; therefore, flexibility and strong training and/or experience in general pathology are a must. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, have excellent communication skills, have a strong desire to interact with clinicians, administrators and laboratory staff, and be proficient in the performance of frozen sections, cytology interpretations (both GYN and non-GYN) and occasional autopsies. The successful candidate should have an interest in clinical pathology, a willingness to serve on tumor boards and hospital committees, an interest in medical directorship and/or administrative leadership, and the ability to work independently.

Spokane is located on the Spokane River in northeast Washington near the Idaho panhandle. Spokane residents enjoy a relatively dry climate with four distinct seasons. This provides an ideal setting to enjoy Washington and Idaho’s abundant outdoor recreational activities, including boating, skiing, golf and fishing. Combined with a thriving downtown with diverse cultural amenities, a quality school system, little traffic congestion, and a comparatively low cost of living, Spokane is an excellent place to live, work, and play.
